I'm a huge slacker

I've been slacking on writing here my friends. 
But I'm going to get better. I have set a goal of myself to improve my writing... step one. write. 
step two... there is no step two, i think it was pretty much summed up in step 1.
So my shows have been of steady improvement : Tampa, Orlando, Marco Island, Saint Augustine, now off to Sarasota for this weekend to complete my Florida leg of this tour. 
It hasnt really felt like being on the road as I know people all over florida and when I didnt know people, i met people.  But i suppose I will meet people everywhere that I go.  I met some beautiful people, one beautiful man in particular.  It's interesting meeting people on the road because unless they are completely in a transitional point or willing to be and want to come cruise for a while, I wont see them again, atleast not for a while.  Well I hope and I think i will see this one again soon :) Our paths seem like they want to re cross. 
And this is what happens when I dont have a show for a week. I get distracted and unproductive-ish. I haven't touched the painting I started at the show two weeks ago (which will be titled "Green Piece"), although I did finish two small pieces that will be gifts to some friends who have made me feel like family. And I spent a lot of quality time with my actual family that I rarely see because I float around the world like a feather.
I have had quite a few conversations with Maui friends about how I'm dealing with being gone and conversations with non-Maui friends which usually go as follows. ".... umm... why did you leave?"
valid question. and to do this, to tour, to promote my art and further my career so i can be super set up when i get back to the islands.  But although I love Maui, I dont feel like I'm rolling around the mainland longing to be there or missing it terribly. I feel really present here right now and am appreciating the beauty and the differences between there and here.  I'm a rambler at heart I guess but I will so  appreciate getting back out there and having the garden of my dreams!!
